Paper manufacturing

GVACITY is the first Swiss brand of rolling papers. A high quality, ultra-fine and ecological paper. The fibers used to manufacture the paper are of vegetable origin and chosen with the greatest care

They come exclusively from sustainably managed farms and their selection is based on two essential criteria: ecological origin and quality (in terms of resistance and fineness).

once the fibers are selected, they are heated at high temperature to obtain pure fibers,

devoid of any other component

The fiber appears brownish and is then bleached in a process that does not use chlorine, making it Totally Chlorine Free (TCF)

Once the pulp is created and drained, a roller winds it to produce the "master" reel.

Good to know: From 14 g/m2, the paper is considered ultra-fine. It can reach 10 g/m2 which can be considered too thin because it is more difficult to roll. This paper offers you the middle ground with a weight of 12 g/m2.

Once the paper roll is formed and unrolled, an engraved cylinder will press the paper

This will create a contrast between the part that has been pressed and the part that has not, thus increasing the transparency effect

The cylinder being engraved with the name and the logo GVACITY, they are stamped on your sheet,

guaranteeing its authenticity

This is a guarantee of quality.

Good to know : The watermark has no influence on the burning of the paper.

Gumming

Once the watermarking is finished, the strip allowing to stick the paper is deposited. It is gum arabic, a 100% natural and vegetable material, totally organic and guaranteed without GMO. Gum arabic is a sap extracted from the acacia tree.

To be applied to the leaf, gum arabic must be diluted with water so that it can adhere to the leaf.

The quality of our water plays an important role in the quality of our gum.
