Successful cultivation begins with the proper functioning of enzymes. Enzymes are higher proteins composed of amino acids with a function encoded in genes. This genetic code determines the function and activity of the enzyme. An enzyme is a kind of catalyst that accelerates chemical reactions without being consumed. Without enzymes, certain chemical conversions can take a hundred million years, whereas with enzymes they are established in 20 thousandths of a second. Enzymes also release the energy contained in assimilated substances. Nutrients are converted into basic components, waste products are transformed and reserves are built up.

Therefore, every grower must monitor a number of factors. The pH-value of the substrate should not be too high or too low. Use Multi zen during the plant's growth period and when rinsing the substrate to break down and remove dead root debris. Prepare your planter as follows. First add a basic fertilizer (e.g. A&B for soil, hydro, coco). Adjust the EC and pH of the tank. Add Multi Zyme last. Your planter is ready for the first watering.
