Inside the small quartz glass capsule of the indicator is a cadmium granule that discolors when heated. Place the capsule in a suitable banger or oil bowl. During heating, the cadmium changes color from yellow to orange to red. When it is red, the ideal temperature for dabbing is reached.
Caution: We recommend heating the banger slowly and allowing it to cool before the next use.
