- To prolong the life of the electrode, it is recommended that it be cleaned monthly by immersing the tip in a general cleaning solution for 30 minutes. Then rinse it thoroughly with tap water and recalibrate the meter.
- Frequent calibration of the tester is recommended. In addition, calibration should be performed whenever the probe is replaced, after testing aggressive products and when high accuracy is required.
- When not in use, rinse the electrode with water and store it with a few drops of storage solution in the protective cap.
