The MC4S is a compact charger for up to four batteries, which are of course charged independently of each other.
It does not matter to the device whether the batteries are of the same type. The device recognizes the type of battery and charges it optimally.
The device actively protects the batteries against overvoltage, overcharging and short circuits.
Resuscitation mode. If a battery has not been used for too long and can no longer be recognized or charged by most devices, this charger can "revive" such a battery and then charge it again. (Caution is advised with lithium-ion batteries, however, as deeply discharged batteries below 2.4V can result in loss of capacity, and discharges below 1.5V can result in potential danger. As a precautionary measure, these batteries should be disposed of at a specialist store.
The charger has a three-stage charging cycle which is particularly gentle on the batteries.
