BIOCANNA Bio Terra Plus
CANNA Research has succeeded in developing a certified organic growing medium that meets international organic standards.
Bio Terra Plus is composed of 100% natural elements and, as such, can be used in organic farming. Bio Terra Plus is made from high-quality peat, including high-quality white peat. The airy structure of white peat is reinforced by small pieces of bark with natural antiseptic effects. Bio Terra Plus is pre-fertilized with certified organic ingredients such as bone dust, bat guano and various trace elements from natural sources.

The 'magic formula' of our Bio Terra Plus contains only certified organic ingredients:
Peat
The peat we use meets the most stringent quality requirements, and is found in only a few places on the planet. The long fiber structure makes this peat lighter, giving the substrate greater aeration.
The bark
Bio Terra Plus contains a special high-quality bark. This bark also inhibits the development of harmful moulds. The lower-quality bark often found in less expensive substrates can be a vector for harmful pathogens.
COCO
Bio Terra Plus contains high-quality COCO, the same as in our excellent CANNA COCO.
Thanks to a special sterilization method, the spongy structure of our coco remains unaltered. The coir sold by most of our competitors is often sterilized using high-pressure steam methods, which destroy the microstructure of the substrate.
The combination of raw materials used in the production of our Bio Terra results in an incredibly light potting soil, capable of preserving its fluid, airy structure. This absolutely unique product sets a whole new standard in the potting soil market.
Self-regulating effect
BIO TERRA PLUS is a pre-fertilized potting soil. Depending on the nutrient's irrigation rate, plants will absorb the fertilizing agent directly from the substrate thanks to a self-regulating system. So they get what they need, when they need it.
If the plant receives the required nutrients directly from the nutrient solution, the elements contained in the pre-fertilized soil will remain in the substrate longer. The self-regulating effect also depends on various geographical and climatic factors: in England, the potting soil will probably release its nutrients more slowly than in Spain, where the climate is warmer. This incredible self-regulating system is specific to this potting soil.

Thanks to the self-regulating effect of the substrate and the unique properties of our certified organic fertilizers, gardeners can now grow their plants naturally and easily. With BIOCANNA's range of products, it's hard not to see a growth cycle come to fruition.
Thanks to the unique properties of Bio Terra Plus, gardeners no longer need to check pH levels or EC (electrical conductivity) levels of the nutrient solution. In fact, it's the soil that corrects the grower!
