Gro-Tank Basic is an original hydroponic kit for growing without substrate, for home and horticultural use. Perfect for high production in a small space.
Gro-Tanks are often referred to as "pure hydroponics" because they use virtually no growing medium and the roots have unlimited access to oxygen.
The plants are placed in rockwool blocks and the roots grow along the planting channel. The nutrient solution is constantly pumped from the tank to the roots, with no timer to program. Since virtually no growing medium is used, there is almost nothing to throw away at the end of the season.
