You can either work directly with silicone-coated baking paper, or use rosin bags in addition. The disadvantage of rosin bags is that some of the resin/wax may stick to the bag. It's important not to use rosin bags smaller than 120 mc, otherwise you'll have a lot more sticks and less resin or wax.
But from your own experience, you've noticed that you first need to practice with the rosin press until you get the result you want.
Do it yourself - with the electric hot press from "Qnubu", producing delicious Rosindabs is totally easy and safe! Rosin is cannabis resin extracted solely by heat and pressure. Rosin is therefore an absolutely pure concentrate, free from any solvents such as alcohol or butane gas. Because of its purity, but also because it's much safer to produce, extraction with special rosin presses is becoming increasingly popular.
With the "Qnubu" press, extracting raisins is very easy, and even beginners will succeed without any problems. And the simplicity of the application speaks for itself:
Simply place flowers, buds or other herbs in a suitable raisin filter bag, then in greaseproof paper, heat the press to the desired temperature (digital display), place the press material between the press plates, lock the press by means of the hanging mechanism, set the timer to the desired duration and off you go! With a pressure of 6 tons, the press reliably squeezes the precious raisins out of the plant material without the use of force and without any danger of explosion. As the raisins can run off the sides of the pressing plate, we recommend building a "boat" with a baking paper drain.
The correct choice of temperature and duration of the pressing process is highly dependent on the type, quality and condition of the raw material, and often requires testing with smaller quantities. As a guide, "Qnubu" recommends a temperature of 90° C with a pressing time of 60 seconds. We also recommend putting the rosin directly into the freezer after pressing. This prevents the terpenes from breaking down and the flavor from being lost.
